#10 FOR TYPHOON BUTCHOY
TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNING ISSUED AT 5AM 8July2016
TYPHOON BUTCHOY HAS SLIGHTLY WEAKENED AND IS ABOUT TO MAKE LANDFALL OVER SOUTHEAST TAIWAN. Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 650km diameter of the typhoon. Fisherfolk are advised not to venture out over the northern and eastern seaboards of Luzon and the southern and western seaboards of Southern Luzon. Butchoy will enhance the Southwest monsoon which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains over the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Batangas, Cavite and Mindoro.
Location of eye: At 4AM today, the eye of BUTCHOY was located based on all available data including Basco Doppler Radar at 220km North Northwest of Itbayat, Batanes. Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 195kph near the center and gustiness of up to 230kph. Forecast Movement: Forecast to move West Northwest at 15kph

Typhoon BUTCHOY continues to gain strength as it moves northwest towards Taiwan. Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 600km diameter of the typhoon. Fisherfolk are advised not to venture out over the northern and eastern seaboards of Luzon.

Location of center: At 4PM today, the eye of BUTCHOY was located based on all available data at 615km East of Basco, Batanes.
Strength: Maximum winds of 210kph near the center and gustiness of up to 245kph.

TROPICAL CYCLONE: ALERT
ISSUED AT 2AM, 27JUNE2016
AMBO HAS MADE LANDFALL OVER DINALUNGAN, AURORA AND HAS WEAKENED INTO A LOW PRESSURE AREA. Location of eye: At 1AM today, the center of the Low Pressure Area was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Quirino Province (16.2°N, 121.4°E). All Tropical Cyclone Warning Signals elsewhere are now lifted. The Low Pressure Area is still expected to bring occasional moderate to heavy rains which may trigger flashfloods and landslides over Northern and Central Luzon and the provinces of Rizal and Quezon. While light to moderate rains is expected over Cavite, Laguna and Batangas.With this development and unless re-intensification occurs, this is the final bulletin on this weather disturbance.

Estimated rainfall amount is from 2.5–10 mm/hour (moderate-heavy) within the 200 km diameter of the Tropical Depression. Likewise, occasional moderate to heavy rains is expected over Central Luzon, CALABARZON and Bicol Region beginning today. TD AMBO is expected to weaken after making landfall over Aurora province tomorrow. Residents in low lying and mountainous areas of the provinces with TCWS#1 are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to take appropriate actions. Location of center: At 10AM today, the center of TD AMBO was estimated based on all available data at 182km East of Virac, Catanduanes (13.7°N, 125.9°E).
